This Privacy Policy explains how FutureTecEra collects, uses, stores, and shares information when visitors read website content, subscribe to email updates, post comments, communicate by email, or interact with website analytics and technical services.
Website: FutureTecEra.com · Last updated: August 2026
FutureTecEra is an independently managed educational website founded and edited by Rachid Ennajah. This policy describes the website features currently in use, including Google Analytics, Jetpack Stats, Jetpack Newsletter, and article comments.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to information processed through the website at futuretecera.com. It does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services reached through external links.
Privacy requirements vary by location and by the type of processing involved. References to GDPR, California privacy rights, or similar laws apply only where the relevant law applies to the visitor and the website activity.
Information Collected
Newsletter Subscriptions
When a visitor subscribes through the Jetpack Newsletter form, the subscription service processes the email address provided. Jetpack may also process technical information connected to the subscription request, such as the IP address, request headers, and the page address used to begin the subscription, for service operation, spam prevention, and abuse monitoring.
Subscription information may also include the subscription date, acquisition source, country, messages sent, and engagement information made available through Jetpack subscriber tools. The subscription form does not request a password, payment information, identity documents, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Article Comments
Comments are enabled on FutureTecEra articles. When a visitor posts a comment, the website may collect the comment text and the information displayed in the comment form, which may include a name, email address, and optional website address.
The visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent information may also be processed for moderation, security, and spam detection. When Automattic services such as Jetpack Comments, Gravatar, or Akismet are enabled, relevant comment data may be processed by those services under their own privacy terms.
An anonymized string created from an email address may be provided to Gravatar when that service is active. After a comment is approved, a profile image associated with Gravatar may appear publicly beside the comment.
Direct Email Communication
When a visitor emails FutureTecEra, the website operator receives the sender’s email address, message content, and any information the sender chooses to include. Visitors should avoid sending passwords, payment details, identity documents, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Technical and Usage Information
Hosting, security, analytics, and performance services may automatically process technical and usage information. Depending on the active service and its settings, this information may include:
- IP address and approximate location derived from technical information.
- Browser, device type, operating system, and language.
- Pages and posts viewed, visit times, and session information.
- Referring pages, search terms, and outbound link clicks.
- Performance, security, and error information.
- Cookie identifiers or similar technical identifiers where applicable.
How Information Is Used
- To deliver newsletter emails requested by subscribers.
- To process, display, moderate, and respond to article comments.
- To respond to email questions and privacy requests.
- To understand traffic patterns and how website content is accessed.
- To review website performance, navigation, and technical operation.
- To detect spam, abuse, invalid activity, and security risks.
- To maintain records required for website administration or applicable legal obligations.
FutureTecEra does not use the website’s ordinary forms or comment areas to request sensitive personal information.
Legal Bases Where Applicable
Where a privacy law requires a legal basis for processing, the applicable basis depends on the activity. It may include:
- Consent: for a newsletter subscription or optional cookies where consent is required.
- A requested communication: when a visitor sends a message or submits a comment for publication.
- Legitimate operational interests: for website security, spam prevention, service reliability, and limited audience measurement where permitted.
- Legal obligations: when information must be retained or disclosed under applicable law.
Consent may be withdrawn where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
Google Analytics
FutureTecEra uses Google Analytics to review general website usage. Depending on the configuration and consent settings, Google Analytics may process information such as the number of users, session statistics, approximate geographic location, browser information, and device information.
Analytics information is used to understand broad traffic patterns and website performance. It is not used by FutureTecEra to identify individual visitors by name.
Google processes Analytics data according to Google’s terms, privacy documentation, and the settings configured for the Analytics property. Visitors can review the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Jetpack and Automattic Services
Jetpack Stats
FutureTecEra uses Jetpack Stats to measure page and post views, referring pages, search terms, outbound link clicks, country-level information, and general performance information.
Jetpack may process technical information such as an IP address, user agent, visiting and referring URLs, timestamp, browser language, country code, and WordPress.com account details when a visitor is logged in. The website operator receives aggregated statistics rather than a list identifying the specific people who viewed a page.
Jetpack Newsletter
Jetpack Newsletter manages subscriptions and sends email notifications related to newly published posts. Jetpack may use the subscriber’s email address, subscription details, technical request information, and functionality cookies needed to remember subscription choices.
Comments and Related Services
WordPress and Jetpack-related comment features may process comment-form information, comment content, timestamps, IP addresses, browser information, and moderation status. Gravatar may process a hashed form of an email address to retrieve a profile image, and Akismet may process comment information for spam checking when enabled.
Visitors can review the Jetpack Privacy Center and the Automattic Privacy Policy for information about Automattic services.
Advertising and External-Link Status
FutureTecEra does not currently display Google AdSense advertisements or other third-party advertising placements.
External links on the website are currently standard editorial links. FutureTecEra does not receive a commission when visitors use those links, and ordinary editorial links are not treated as sponsored placements.
If advertising or commission-based links are enabled in the future, this Privacy Policy and any applicable consent or disclosure mechanisms will be updated to describe the related data practices.
Data Retention
- Subscription information may be retained while the subscription is active and in limited records after unsubscribing where needed to manage delivery preferences or prevent unintended resubscription.
- Comments and associated metadata may remain on the website so discussions can be displayed and moderated, unless removal is requested and applicable.
- Direct email messages may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to understand the request, respond, maintain related records, or address security concerns.
- Analytics, security, and technical logs are retained according to provider settings, operational needs, and the provider’s own policies.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or retained only where a legal, security, or record-keeping reason applies.
Data Security
FutureTecEra uses HTTPS for website communication and applies reasonable website administration, update, access-control, spam-prevention, and security practices.
No website, hosting system, email service, or online transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Visitors should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information through comments or email.
International Processing
Google, Automattic, hosting providers, and other technical services may process information in countries other than the visitor’s country. Their handling of international transfers is governed by their terms, privacy policies, and any transfer safeguards that apply to their services.
GDPR-Related Rights for Eligible Visitors
Where GDPR or similar rights apply, a visitor may have the right to:
- Request information about personal data and obtain access to it.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion where the right applies and no valid exception requires retention.
- Request restriction of certain processing.
- Object to certain processing.
- Request data portability where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Submit a complaint to an appropriate data-protection authority.
Privacy requests can be sent to futuretecera@gmail.com. Reasonable verification may be required before a request is completed.
California Privacy Rights Where Applicable
If California privacy law applies to a visitor and the relevant website activity, rights may include requesting information about categories of personal information, access, deletion, correction, opting out of certain sale or sharing practices, limiting certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receiving equal service after exercising a privacy right.
FutureTecEra does not receive payment for selling personal information and does not currently operate third-party advertising placements. Analytics and technical service providers may process usage information under their own terms and configurations.
Eligible California privacy requests may be sent to futuretecera@gmail.com.
Children’s Privacy
FutureTecEra is an educational website for a general audience interested in artificial intelligence, digital tools, and technology-related learning. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age established by applicable law.
A parent or guardian who believes that a child submitted personal information may contact futuretecera@gmail.com so the request can be reviewed and appropriate action can be considered.
External Websites and Downloads
Articles and resource pages may link to external platforms or downloadable files. Third-party websites are independently responsible for their privacy practices, account requirements, cookies, and data handling. Visitors should review those policies before creating an account or submitting information.
